Our family went to the Portland Art Museum a couple of days ago to check out the China Design Now exhibit.  In the courtyard, there was this beautiful display of hanging red orbs.  I love grand installations, particularly those executed with the most basic materials.  Here are a few more examples of spectacular museum and gallery displays.
